A bold new approach to high school learning

Felix Levitt Lab

Felix is the first public school of its kind in Massachusetts located on a college campus—Lasell University in Newton. The Levitt Lab has teamed up with ASU Prep to redesign school for today’s learners. This program combines personalized, tech-enabled rigor with collaborative discovery and discussion.

Felix Levitt Lab is a school for curious and critical thinkers who want to take control of their education and collaborate to solve real-world problems. It blends world-class academics with bold new ways of learning. Students attend classes on campus four days per week and complete one day of coursework remotely from anywhere. This flexible 4+1 experience includes online coursework, Socratic-style discussions, in-depth explorations and hands-on projects.

Students develop mastery through deep understanding and real-world application, gaining the confidence to navigate complex challenges.

With access to tuition-free dual enrollment through ASU concurrent college courses, graduates leave prepared for college, careers and life.

Felix is more than a name. It is a promise that this school will be a fortunate place to land and a fruitful place to grow, perfect for New England students ready to take ownership of their learning and shape what comes next.

Beyond academics, the school is built on close community connections. Felix intentionally refers to teachers as “Guides” to highlight their role in facilitating learning and supporting student discovery. Guides know each student as an individual, providing personalized support and helping them discover their interests, strengths and passions while exploring new possibilities they haven’t yet considered.

“We’ve reimagined what high school can be. This is more than a program; it’s a revolution in learning.”

– Steve Levitt, renowned economist, Freakonomics co-author and Founder of The Levitt Lab
